Divvy founder takes a moment to share what inspired him to start the social saving company, Divvy. Helping people become more comfortable talking about their financial situation, changing a way of thinking around money and moving away from debt to planning for your future, all drove Jam to create Divvy.
While stats are very discouraging, Jam believes people can become better savers. But he recognizes it is tough to go at it alone, so within Divvy users are encourage to save together with friends and family. Building a support mechanism has worked well in other areas, but hasn’t effectively been applied to financial situations.
That is going to change!
With simplicity and transparency, Divvy harnesses the power of community to share personal aspirations and save towards common goals together.
